Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Who We Are
Logos & Mind ("we", "us", "our") is a digital publisher based in Kenya providing philosophy and mental-health-related PDF guides. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Email address — when you sign up for our free guide or purchase a paid guide, so we can deliver your content and send relevant updates.
- Payment information — processed entirely by our payment provider (Paystack). We do not store your card details, M-Pesa PIN, or any payment credentials on our servers.
- Usage data — basic, non-identifying analytics about how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location at country/region level, device type), used to improve the site.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the guide(s) you purchased or requested
- Send occasional emails about new guides, relevant to your interests
- Respond to support requests sent via our contact form
- Improve our website's content and performance
- Run advertising campaigns through Meta (Facebook) to reach people who may benefit from our guides, and measure the effectiveness of those campaigns. This uses the Meta Pixel — a small piece of code that sends anonymised event data (such as page views, product views, checkout initiations, and purchases) to Meta for conversion tracking and ad optimisation.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Paystack — payment processing
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot and spam protection on our forms
- Google Fonts — typography, loaded from Google's servers
5. Data Retention
We retain your email address for as long as you remain subscribed, or until you ask us to delete it. Purchase records are retained as required by Kenyan tax and accounting law.
6. Your Rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us directly to be removed from our list.
8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our website uses the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel), a tracking technology that collects event data (such as pages viewed, products viewed, checkout initiations, and purchases) to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising and optimise conversions. This technology may place cookies or use similar browser storage to associate visits with Meta (Facebook) for ad delivery and reporting purposes.
Aside from the Meta Pixel, we do not use other tracking or advertising cookies. Any additional cookies set are strictly functional (e.g. remembering that you've closed a notice).
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
